Shadow's Perch

Shadow's Perch captures a moment of quiet authority, inspired by a photograph by Scotch Macaskill. Perched within the shelter of the African trees, the leopard's presence is both composed and commanding, its gaze drawing you in with a quiet intensity. In this piece Samara focused on conveying restrained power, revealing the subtle tension and form beneath his coat. Set against the depth of his surroundings, this work explores the contrast between concealment and presence, inviting the viewer into a fleeting moment where the wild feels both intimate and untouchable.
